Baby Bump

Week by week we will show the bump grow as our garden grows right along with it!

Week 15 - getting the garden ready to be planted and finally starting to see my own baby bump show up for spring

Week 16 - me with the little bean standing next to the big bean in Chicago, IL

Week 17 - Deep in the Michigan forest at the "property" (Moser family camping spot)

Week 18 - garden is planted! Starting the feel the baby kick and wiggle!

Week 19 - Spring has sprung in the garden!

Week 20 - Half-way through! Baby and the kale are really starting to grow!

Week 21 - Happy now that my belly is fully of cajun tater tots and fresh strawberries from the garden

Week 22 - feeling a bit bigger this week...and look...our corn is "knee high by the 4th of July"!

Week 23 - after yoga and a "meh" dinner I was ready for bed and not in the mood for picture taking. Baby however was thrilled and wiggling all around.

Week 24 - Gardening is getting tough with this bump sticking off the front! Good thing most of the garden is just growing right now and not needing too much work!

Week 25 - Finally feels like summer in Portland now -- corn is getting super tall...I am not sure how we are going to harvest them once they are done!

Week 26 - Biff makes an appearance! He is always out there with us but this the first time we caught him in the photo. Baby is getting really active making my belly leap and jump all over the place!

Week 27 - Start of my third trimester! Rounding the corner for the home stretch and feeling ready to meet this little person!

Week 28 - Off location in Bend, OR taking the baby for a little vacation with some friends. Lots of movement and trying to get this baby to flip around so we don't have to be breeched.

Week 29 - People have started assuming I am due "any day now" when I still have 2+ months to go...wonder how big I am really going to get...

Week 30 - 15 weeks from the very first picture there has been some significant growth! Baby is doing great and moving around ALL the time.

Week 31 - It has been in the 90's around here...very hot for a pregnant lady but we are off to the coast where it is sure to be cold.

Week 32 - fall has arrived and things are slowing down with the garden...not with the baby though, he/she is more active than ever!

Week 33 - Fall is officially here in Portland, the garden is winding down and I am getting ready for this baby to join our family.

Week 34 - Baby is still growing strong, I am measuring a few weeks ahead of schedule but that isn't a sign of concern...just a fact of things

Week 35 - The weather has turned to rainy and cold. Luckily I can wear Dave's jacket over my belly! Having more contractions than normal but they are still just Braxton Hicks...not the real deal.

Week 36. All dressed up for Friday evening's company party. The dress still fits!

Week 37 - Belly isn't really getting bigger just full of more baby who it is main person getting big these days!

Week 38 - Happy Halloween! I feel like I am carrying around a pumpkin in this giant belly of mine :)

Week 39 - In the home stretch! Belly isn't growing too much anymore...just getting heavier. Baby is in a pretty good position and my only goal over the next (few?!) days is to keep it that way.

Week 40 - Well the due date has come and gone and this baby is still holding out. The head is fully engaged and ready to go, all I need is for the baby and my body to say "GO".

Week 41 - The evening before Mira was born, taken in our living room. In this photo, Angie, the midwife's assistant, is measuring Mira's heartbeat, and Morgan is breathing through contractions.

Week 42 - No longer in the belly but here with us in person! Miss Mira is a week old today and we couldn't be happier to have her as a part of our family.
